About Me
Hi! I’m Heather. I live on the foggy coast of Northern California with my husband, our seven dogs (yes, seven—technically making me a Dog Fancier), and a rotating list of Victorian home and garden projects. When I’m not walking the pack with my neighborhood best friend, I’m either helping launch our brewery, curled up with a steamy, female-led book series, or watching quirky TV shows that understand how weird and wonderful people really are. (Overcompensating on Prime was my favorite this year.)
My clients are women who show up strong, steady, and successful in so many parts of life, but who feel unsettled and anxious when it comes to love. I know how vulnerable that can feel. I’ve spent over a decade working with people carrying complex grief, caregiving burdens, and deep emotional responsibility. Over time, I saw a pattern: so many of these women were strong, insightful, and emotionally generous—but their romantic relationships felt like a place where none of that seemed to help. I became passionate about helping women untangle anxious attachment and learn how to feel secure without shutting down or shrinking themselves.
I believe therapy should feel warm, curious, and collaborative. I bring a blend of clinical skill, directness, and humor to my work. Together, we’ll explore what shaped your patterns, how they show up now, and what needs to shift so you can stop over-functioning in love and start showing up for yourself more fully.
