FAQ

A wet road running through a dense, green forest with tall trees on both sides, under a cloudy sky.
  • Description I offer online therapy for high-functioning, emotionally insightful women who are confident in many areas of life—but relationships bring up anxiety, insecurity, or patterns you’re ready to understand and shift. My work is rooted in attachment theory, emotionally focused therapy (EFT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and grief-informed care. Together, we’ll explore your emotional world and build a sense of inner security that supports safe, connected relationships. text goes here

  • I specialize in helping women who:

    • Feel confident at work and with friends but anxious or uncertain in romantic relationships

    • Overthink, second-guess themselves, or fear being “too much” or “not enough” in love

    • Have a history of emotionally unavailable, inconsistent, or confusing relationships

    • Take care of everyone else but feel alone with their own emotional needs

    • Want to shift anxious attachment patterns without losing their independence

    • Are navigating grief or loss—of a loved one, a relationship, or a sense of self

  • Sessions are 50 minutes long and take place virtually. These sessions are client-led, with you guiding the discussion and bringing up what is most pressing to you. I bring curiosity, compassion, and an active, emotionally attuned presence to each session, while keeping your goals for therapy in mind. We’ll work collaboratively—looking at your patterns, how they formed, and how to create new ways of relating to yourself and others.

You’ll receive optional worksheets and resources along the way, including psychoeducation on attachment styles, relationship dynamics, and practical tools for regulation and reflection.

  • While my practice centers the experience of high-achieving women, I also welcome queer and nonbinary clients, especially those navigating attachment wounds. If you’re wondering if we’d be a good fit, feel free to reach out.

  • I do not accept insurance. If you have out-of-network benefits, I’m happy to provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Please note that Medicare does not allow superbills.

Unfortunately, I’m also unable to work with clients who are covered by Medi-Cal, even if they wish to pay out of pocket. I know this can feel limiting, and I want to acknowledge how important access to care is. If you're currently covered by Medi-Cal, I recommend reaching out to providers within your network or exploring local community mental health resources that accept your coverage. If you're not sure where to begin, I'm happy to point you toward a few options.

  • The initial intake session is $225. Ongoing individual sessions are $200. Payment is made securely through your client portal.

Although I’m a member of Open Path Collective, I currently do not have any sliding scale openings available. If you'd like to be added to the waitlist for a future reduced-fee spot, feel free to reach out.

  • Yes. Online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as in-person therapy for most issues, particularly when working on anxiety, relationships, and grief. All you need is a private space, a reliable internet connection, and a willingness to be present.

  • II use SimplePractice for secure messaging, billing, and paperwork, and HIPAA-compliant Zoom for video sessions. Once you become a client, you’ll have 24/7 access to your SimplePractice portal.

  • That’s completely okay. The consultation is simply a chance to connect—there’s no pressure. If it doesn’t feel like the right fit, I’m happy to offer referrals to other trusted providers.
