*Longer appointments can be scheduled and are billed according to the same hourly rate.
I am a private-pay provider, but I can provide a superbill if you’d like to seek reimbursement for out-of-network services. Be sure to call your insurance to confirm your out-of-network benefits.
If you’d like to use your benefits, call your insurance provider and ask:
Do I have out-of-network mental health coverage?
What percentage of the session fee is reimbursed?
Is there a deductible I need to meet first?
Good Faith Estimate:
Under federal law, health care providers must give clients who don’t have insurance, or who choose not to use insurance, an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) that outlines the total expected cost of any non-emergency health care services, including therapy.
You may request a Good Faith Estimate from your provider before scheduling a service, and you can also request one at any point during your treatment.
If your bill is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charges. Be sure to keep a copy or photo of your estimate for your records.
For more information about your rights, or about how to dispute a bill, review your Good Faith Estimate or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
